Description

Toshiba Aquilion ONE 320 CT Scanner (2017) – Dynamic Volume Imaging

The Toshiba Aquilion ONE 320 CT Scanner (2017) is a premium dynamic volume CT system designed for advanced diagnostic imaging. It offers unmatched speed and coverage for whole-organ imaging in a single rotation. Featuring a 320-row detector and 0.5 mm slice thickness, this scanner delivers high-resolution images. In addition, it provides up to 50% dose reduction through AIDR 3D (Adaptive Iterative Dose Reduction).

Dynamic Volume Imaging

The system provides 16 cm z-axis coverage to capture entire organs, such as the heart and brain, in one 0.275-second rotation. As a result, it reduces motion artifacts and enables functional studies like perfusion.

AIDR 3D and FIRST

Iterative reconstruction reduces radiation dose and noise. Therefore, low-contrast resolution improves by up to 75%, making it easier to detect subtle lesions.

78 cm Gantry Aperture

The large 78 cm aperture accommodates diverse patients, including bariatric cases. The patient table supports up to 660 lbs (300 kg).

PureVision Detector

This technology enhances dose efficiency and image quality with 896 channels and 0.5 mm detector elements. It is ideal for cardiac, neuro, and oncology applications.

Advanced Imaging Modes

The scanner supports multiple modes:

  • Cardiac CT Angiography (CTA)
  • Brain Perfusion
  • Lung Volume Analysis
  • Dual-Energy Imaging
  • 4D Dynamic Imaging
  • SURESubtraction for vessel visualization

SUREExposure 3D

The system automatically modulates dose based on patient size and anatomy. As a result, it ensures patient safety without sacrificing image quality.

Workflow Enhancements

Workflow is improved with Vitrea Advanced Visualization for post-processing tasks such as cardiac function and lung nodule assessment. In addition, features like Auto Bone Removal and SUREStart enable real-time contrast mon
